CYDC’s goal is that all children are equipped with the skills and tools they need to enter adulthood prepared for success. While the SC Department of Social Services supports a portion of our costs, children in foster care deserve more than a bed and a meal. CYDC invests in our children by supporting them with social-emotional learning, academic intervention, and college and career readiness tools. Your donation helps make CYDC the safe and nurturing environment that all children, especially those who have been victims of abuse or neglect need.

We’re delighted that the Federal Cares Act has incentivized charitable giving and will allow taxpayers above-the-line deductions for contributions up to $300 made directly to charities. For those who itemize deductions, the law lifts the cap on annual contributions from 60% of adjusted gross income to 100%. I hope you can take advantage of this unique situation. We will gratefully provide a tax letter for your records.
