CYDC Appears on Fox 24 Charleston Foster Care Segment

NOTE: As of Feb. 29, 2024, Carolina Youth Development Center (CYDC) has rebranded to Landmarks for Families. Our nonprofit, community programs and residential services remain committed to cultivating thriving youth and families in this new chapter.

On May 18, local TV news affiliate Fox 24 Charleston invited representatives from Carolina Youth Development Center and Lowcountry Orphan Relief on its Fox News Now special segment on National Foster Care Month to talk about the foster care system and what our agencies do to help children and youth in foster care in the community.

In addition to examining some statistics on the number of youth in foster care both nationally and in South Carolina, Carolina Youth Development Center discussed our three residential group homes that provide comprehensive care to child victims of abuse, neglect and parental abandonment.

Check out this video clip to watch the entire interview and learn more about the services CYDC provides to children in our care.
