Vice President of Residential Services

The Vice President of Residential Services (VPRS) is responsible for the delivery of quality residential services and programming at Carolina Youth Development Center (CYDC), including, but not limited to: the design, implementation and operations of residential services and/or programming; risk management, quality assurance and outcome evaluation; management, supervision and development of residential program staff, interns and volunteers; residential budget and contract management; program specific fundraising and external relations, including serving as the primary organizational liaison around residential services and programming.
The VPRS must be an inspiring and results-oriented leader with strong analytic and management skills as well as the breadth and depth of experience to oversee effective day-to-day operations that meet the needs of CYDC’s residential youth population. The VPRS must be committed to optimizing the sustainability and effectiveness of existing programs and services, deepening staff and organizational capacity to deliver quality services, using data as a critical tool to inform learning, reflective practice, program performance, and producing positive outcomes for youth. The VPRS will also identify, assess, and evaluate opportunities to expand current services or programs and/or implement new services or programs.
The VPRS will report directly to the CEO and serve on the senior management team to collaboratively set and promote the culture, vision and mission of the CYDC, achieve annual and strategic plan goals, and advocate for youth rights. In addition, the VPRS will lead, manage and hold accountable residential team members including Residential/Cottage Managers, Care Managers and Residential/Cottage Staff.
