Lowcountry Giving Day, a celebration of charitable online giving in support of area nonprofits, 
returns Tuesday, May 3. Carolina Youth Development Center is a proud participant in this major local fundraising event, and we are thrilled to share that we have secured a $53,000 challenge for our community to match through their Lowcountry Giving donations!
We have set an ambitious goal of doubling the match and raising $106,000, and only with your generosity can we accomplish it!
Ways to Give:
• This year online donations can be scheduled in advance via credit card starting on April 1 at text.gives/we raisehope
and lowcountrygivingday.org. Make sure to schedule your card to be charged on Tuesday, May 3
• CYDC will accept checks or cash donations from April 1 to May 3. Send checks to ‘Carolina Youth Development Center, 5055 Lackawanna Boulevard, North Charleston 29405’
• On Lowcountry Giving Day you can donate to CYDC at cydc.org or text.gives/weraisehope.
• You can also donate to CYDC via cell phone on Lowcountry Giving Day by texting ‘weraisehope’ to 33923

Because all children, regardless of their family circumstances, deserve the chance for a promising future and access to opportunity. We serve youth in foster care who have been abused, abandoned or neglected. Each donation makes a difference in the life of a child, whether allowing us to provide basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter, or to offer supplemental services such as academic support, mentoring or job readiness and life skills training.
