The Carolina Youth Development Center is looking for an energetic individual to work in a part-time position to be responsible for preparing meals for clients and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen area.
The primary responsibilities of the position include preparation of residential meals, as well as meal planning and preparation according to USDA guidelines. Completion of weekly reports to the Residential Managers regarding food supply and inventory is essential.
The Cook is also responsible for sanitation duties in the food services area, including disinfecting of the food preparation areas, washing all utensils, pots and pans used in food preparation, sweeping the floor daily and mopping at least twice per week.
High school diploma required. Dietician experience preferred.
