Community-based prevention services

CYDC as part of the SAFY Empowering Families Network provides timely, integrated, culturally competent community based services through a team of Bachelor/Master Level Case Managers in our Community Based Prevention Services (CBPS) Program. Case Managers are responsible for offering a variety of services which include, but are not limited to: assessment, linkage and coordination, and parenting education. The goal of the program is to eliminate or significantly reduce identified risk factors for child abuse and neglect and to enhance protective factors in referred families that result in a stronger more empowered family. An additional goal is to improve community networks that strengthen support systems for families in need.
