Residential Services
A Home For Growth and Healing
When children arrive at Landmarks for Families seeking residential care, they need a safe, stable place to call home. Landmarks for Families has become that home for thousands of children and youth who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect over its 230-plus-year history.
Known as a leader in providing comprehensive treatment for children and adolescents who have experienced emotional, physical, and sexual trauma, Landmarks for Families individualizes services for the children in its care with customized treatment plans designed to meet each child’s unique needs. Landmarks for Families cottages provide temporary and/or long-term care for children and youth suffering from the impact of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse.
Residential Cottages
Landmarks for Families’ four residential cottages offer a safe and supportive environment for homeless youth to heal and rebuild. Through our comprehensive programs and services, we aim to empower youth with the necessary skills, resources, and environment to break the cycle of homelessness.
Independent Living Preparation
Our residential group home located on Landmarks for Families’ North Charleston campus provides transitional housing for youth – ages 17 to 21 – aging out of foster care. This supportive environment focuses on helping young adults transition, with skills and confidence, to living independently.
